Birthday confessions

As promised, this is an update of my birthday celebrations.

The brightest note ever; my great grandma is discharged from the hospital and can walk again! She was admitted to the hospital for more than a month due to stroke and inability to walk. Now, she's discharged and can walk again! She's 93 years old this year. I'm really happy, delighted, overjoyed, pleased...anything happy, YOU NAME IT! It's the best birthday present ever in 19 years. Not to belittle anyone else's effort, but she really means a lot to me. I appreciate every other present too.

Headed to Bangsar Village in the morning to meet with the boyfriend, hung out around Bangsar Village II and then off to La Bodega for birthday lunch, which I suppose ripped his wallet badly. (LOL) Had lamb cutlets, Peaches and cream and paella (Spanish seafood baked rice) and it was pleasant overall. :)

Went to Redbox at The Gardens from 1:30pm for 4 hours and it was great entertainment, hearing him sing songs in different accents and I Knew You Were Trouble goat version. Did I mention I can sing for free for a week at any Redbox outlet? Wonderful isn't it? Had Ding Tai Fung for dinner where I got complimentary xiao long pao since it's my birthday.

Headed home to celebrate with the family! :D Dad bought cupcakes from Bizou because we've always had normal cake for previous birthdays so he's decided to make a change.

His handmade birthday present for me! How thoughtful of him. <3>

Thanks once again for all the birthday wishes on any platform, be it Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, text message, Whatsapp or anything that can reach me, I truly appreciate it. I feel loved and blessed indeed, I know I am despite all the doubts throughout the year. Whether you were reminded by Facebook or whatnot, I know some of you do remember it by heart, thanks for that! :)

Have a blessed life (because day/month/year feels too short) everyone, for I hope for the best for everyone of you! :)

Girls day out! ...or not.

It's the beginning of March and I have a lot to look forward to! Besides December, March has got to be my favourite month obviously because it's yours sincerely's birthday month!

The events in store for March are Jaya One bazaar, BBW aftermath bookfair, my birthday celebrations, FREE karaoke for a week, Run For Sight, FREE movie screening exclusively for Seventeen girl crew, Sony Alpha Experience and a wedding lunch. I'm so excited! :D

Back to the topic. Today I went out with Katrina and her friend, Addie. First stop at Jaya One for the bazaar. It was amazing! Bought a pair of Oxford shoes, handbag, craft supplies and I'm ashamed to say lots of food; salted caramel brownie, DIY cupcakes and fruit juice. Will definitely pay a visit next year! ( P/S: or perhaps 3 months because Kat said it happens once every 3 months. Hooray! )

Here are some of the vendors which you should totally check out!

yay, cake!  Their Salted Caramel Brownie is totally awesome
yay,sammich! For sandwich lovers!
Madelyn Muffins they had DIY mini muffins which you can put your creativity into good use. Partial total sales goes to charity as well.
Alice Wonders Go crazy, their bags and accessories are at affordable price. :D
Notbook For those of you who are in desperate need of a statement notebook and have no time to design your own, click away!
Smooshie Juice  For juice lovers. It's reallllllllly good.

-advertising over-

Kat and her giant pencil! It actually writes!

The cupcakes Kat and I designed :D

Bag from Alice Wonders!

Replacing my broken black sneakers with these. :)

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better was there too. Public could adopt from their booth!

Next stop was The Mines for the Big Bad Wolf bookfair but sorry to say it was disappointing. None of the workers did not know about Mitch Albom and I went home empty-handed because the books were all over the place and it was crowded, so I lost interest in finding good books anymore. Anyway, I've bought enough to sustain for this year the last time round! So I'm good.

But then again it's Mitch Albom. D:

Oh, while arranging the books in hope to find any Mitch Albom's novel, a splinter pierced right into my middle finger. I had to wait for hours to take it out at home. Oh well, wasn't TOO painful.

After that, we went dinner and took public transport back home. Like the usual.

Ending this post with a photo of me writing using a giant pencil :

Date

So this evening Rachel was chatting with me via Facebook and out of randomness, she told me she was craving for Tutti Fruitti. Since we live nearby, we agreed to take a walk to satisfy her cravings.

It was an enjoyable walk to Tutti Fruitti and not vice versa. The walk back home was a little tiring due to the incline! But well, with such good companion I have no complain. :P

After Tutti Fruitti, we went into Mr Hammer, a DIY shop and went jakun over the mix and match paint machine. Oh and she got 2 packs of chips home. #hattergonnahate #sorrynotsorry

All in all, today was like an usual day with not-so-usual evening! Satisfied.

Wifey and I!

Mango + Kiwi flavoured yogurt with caramel and sea coconut toppings. My favourite!

Rachel's. Mango yogurt with fruits and M&M toppings.

Oh, last but not least, I DIY-ed a shoe bag for my shoes! The coloured strips are for badges! (:

from the first till last year of teen

Nearly 2.9k views ;)

This post is dedicated to a friend I've known since thirteen until nineteen, from the first until the very last year of teen. and she is KATRINA. :D

We met each other in Bendahara marching practices. She is the most friendliest girl I'd known. She's always hyper and energetic whenever she's with people, a truly happy-go-lucky girl. It's such a blessing to have her around.

She's genuine. This society really needs more of people like her. She doesn't betray, she doesn't pretend, she doesn't judge her friends as well.

She's the most patient person. She'd never been angry or impatient with me. :D

She's the funnest to hang out with, we have endless things to talk about whenever we're out together. Not to forget all the crazy things we've done; pretended to be others on MSN, singing on Skype, went on adventures such as Genting, board game competition, marathons, hang out everywhere we can reach by public transport. I've learnt a lot from her about directions and public transport (I'm an idiot when it comes to directions LOL).

Thanks for being my friend, (6 years and counting)

Nike Run 2010, where we had to gather at 6 in the morning!

Board game competition at Times Square and we won first place :D we also managed to bring 3 Subway sandwiches back home for FREE!

Graduation 2011. This girl is so gorgeous isn't she?

Taken at BSC, our favourite hang out place back then during high school times!

Taken at some japanese restaurant which I can never remember the name. :P

Kat and her Tutti Fruitti! It's sucha pity that they close down the BSC branch.

 Random camwhoring session.

Genting 2012! It was pretty last minute plan but best memories always come from spontaneous events, right?

I shall end this post with the ever so awesome girl's photo.

Pre-birthday celebration!

Hi, you.

Tomorrow is Katrina Yoong's birthday (spam her Facebook/ Twitter with your birthday wishes to her), Huei and I decided to give her a little surprise for the last year of her teen. Well, we planned two surprises but seems like one failed.

I've arrived KLCC roughly an hour earlier and got my plans going. Searched up and down for a perfect present but time was up. And by that I meant it was time I was supposed to meet her. So well, I didn't get the present :( I mean, what's the point of getting unsuitable thing for her right?

We spent about 3 hours roaming around Isetan in search for a birthday present for the boyfriend. Little did we know we would fancy almost everything in the men's section. Their bags seem to be the one we've been looking for in our favourite colour, their checkered shirts are somehow sexier and the list goes on. Sigh. Kat even wanted to be a guy for a moment. Good news is that she did not. :p went Little Penang for brunch. Try out their lorbak and pie tee! (Or however you spell it), good stuff!

About 3pm the princess arrived. So we met at Nando's. The usual, we had our late lunch.

Here comes the surprise! *drum rolls*

The waiters brought out the cake I passed them earlier in the morning without Kat knowing while singing the birthday song.
Well, they were inexperienced in this and they thought it was MY birthday.
I really hope Nando's can train their workers to at least understand English because it is the most used language after all by their customers!

Anyway, it was all good. Had Black Forest cake, caramel pudding and cappuccino mousse.

After that, we continued roaming around at KLCC and Pavilion ( Daiso ftw!) . Then, we went on an adventure. It's a surprise for the boyfriend :p. big thanks to Huei and Kat for walking miles with me. Now our legs hurt the crap outta us! I swear KL is as confusing as confusing can get.

Okay maybe it wasn't the real adventure for the day, I had a worse one when I came home. And it shall be kept as a secret! *seals lips*

So off we went to the monorail station, and we took the wrong train. Such geniuses. We deserve a round of applause! Finally reached KL sentral, we took the LRT and got down at the nearest stations near our homes.

All in all, it was a great and exciting day!

Here is some rants, if you're not prepared for it, then... You get my drift.

We saw various kinds of people here in KL. Thumbs up for the polite and CIVILISED ones but ngeh to those who shows rudeness in public!
There are people who :
• are able to earn money in all the right ways but decided to bring their kids along to beg on the street
• push you through as if you're invisible, WITHOUT APOLOGY!
• typical "people" who like to kitty cat call girls, and I consider it as harassment. It annoys the heck out of me because you have no respect for girls/women
• cross the road when it's red light
• still driving when it's red light while green for pedestrians
• goofing around in the middle of the road and laugh when the driver honks them. (WORST of all). Learn to appreciate your life, naive one.

Okay, I've done ranting but don't you agree with me? I'm pretty sure everyone of us encountered some sort of unpleasant events like this.

Signing off. Enjoy the photos!

Valentines '13

It was the first valentine's day where I had a valentine to celebrate with!

It reminded me of how we used to celebrate it back in high school; clubs raising fund by selling roses, giving out roses or candies to close friends and if you were lucky enough, you may find a love letter under your table. But after all, it was pretty much just another day in school.

But yesterday was totally different. Glen and I got to hang out almost the whole day since 10ish in the morning until 8pm.

We were intended to go to this famous char siew place but it was closed, like duh. They want their CNY holidays still! So we left the place disappointed (not really, because it was valentine's after all :p). Since it started raining, we went to Centrepoint instead. We dropped by at Starbucks for awhile but I didn't feel like having anything there, (but I crave for it so often when I don't have the chance to go Starbucks) so we went to Subway to grab a sandwich. It was pretty good, or maybe I was too hungry. We hung around and had early dinner at the Waterlily.

It was my first time trying out Balinese food and it was scrumptious! The portions are huge too. Reasonable price for their portion :) romantic atmosphere and nice service. Couldn't be better!

I'm really grateful for everything baby. It wouldn't be so great if it wasn't spent with the person I love the most. :')

I feel like a terrible human being.

If you could have one chance to seek forgiveness, whom will it be from?

THERE is a time and place for everything. Indeed, it was only a matter of time before this day was decided upon. Last week, a group of individuals and organisations jointly declared Sept 5 as Say Sorry Day.

It's 12.03am now, considered 5th Sept.

I hereby apologize for whatever wrong I've done =)

I know there are times I'd be disrespectful when I wasn't in the mood, exhausted and whatnot. I didn't mean it though.

I don't wanna be a heartbreaker anymore.

I feel like dying. Ngeh D:

I have to get loads of things done yet I have absolutely no idea where to start.
Unorganized? Don't blame me, I'm exhausted.

Getaway's with the lovely bunch of sweethearts is definitely worth looking forward to. <3

Emotions hit me like hurricane.
I wish I have the power to acknowledge it b4 it crunches its grinding steps in my miserable life.

What am I talking about? Sigh.

I wish you'd give me the chance to stay by your side.
Kat, here you go. <3

you.

I wish if I miss you hard enough, you'll acknowledge that someone's waiting for you out there.

I wish I could make the rules as I go.

We've got our English paper for Intervention 1 back.
Shipren is one of the highest and he was extremadamente, excessively happy.
Haiyo. People, this is so him. =)

I still can't believe in it till now. Don't try and figure or ask for my marks. Thank You =)

Today I reached school quite early and I tried to find a peaceful place in school, don't ask me what for.
There were people EVERYwhere. Especially canteen, Never knew that everyone started to like the food there! Gosh... I've been going to the canteen while it was still under the previous operator, like hardly more than 20 people were there?! But now... wow, the whole canteen was full.

Cannot go to the back blocks also. . . it would be extremely weird as the prefects see me being there alone. So I went to the basketball court, It's always the best place around in school. =)

On a more disgusting or... unbelievable note, we guess that our civics teacher is a
G to the A to the Y. xDD.

Okay, I'm not really involved in it as I don't really know about everything, I ain't gonna make my judgement so fast.

According to them, he looks at everyone from DOWN to up.

I didn't know what happened but he suddenly called me up and asked me whether Euvan did a good job. I mean. . . our class people would know what he had to do.
I said "Good, very very good" and after that he asked me to tell the nilai-nilai crap. =.=!!!

*****

There's this super-damn-pampered girl who goes back with my transportation kinda annoyed me.

Yesterday, she went into the van and she just HAD to made me stuck at the door by not going anymore in!!! I'm pretty sure that she could got alot more in. I knew that everyone was in and common sense, they were gonna close the door so I said "excuse me, I wanna go in" and she couldn't hear me!! Obviously she made the freaking door scratch my back!! As you know that the door would kinda automatically shut by itself... sounds weird but it does!!

Luckily I was carrying my bag, if not my back would have get injured. If I got injured, I will sue you!! -lol-

Secondly, she started to beg the driver to send her back to Terasek 8, where the driver already told her clearly that he doesn't send people in Bangsar, only Pantai Hillpark. She just couldn't stop friggin begging the driver!! and the driver finally said that he would drop her off at Mcd's and she had to walk to Terasek 8. She friggin said "cannot"!!!
Freak, it's Mcd's to Terasek 8, and you can't even walk!?!?!!!

Live our lives, I bet you can't live longer than 1 day.
Isn't it SMK BB's culture to walk to Mcd's or something? and we really don't mind. Not like you.
I walked from Mcd's to Terasek 7 for tuition for one week during the hols in the morning, and did you hear me complaining?
You better freaking get your butt to walk!!! You eat so much and it doesn't look like you do exercise. You don't need to be so pampered since you're not freaking princess.

After that, the driver was kind enough to lend her his hp to call her family or whoever. She didn't want. Great. and there were people at her apartment in Pantai Hillpark.
WHAT THE FREAK IS YOUR PROBLEM NOW!?!?! and you said you couldn't go back to your apartment in Pantai Hillpark!?!? It was her brother at the house somemore!!!
BROTHER!!! Not uncle auntie or cousin who generally we are not so close with.

You know you've wasted our friggin precious time for nothing!!! I've got tuition and I need to go out by 3.20pm!!! It was friggin 2.10pm already!!

3rdly, the way how she eats disgusted me. She just had to make her 5 fingers cover with chocolate while eating Rocky!!!

Don't you find that disgusting?! and you were gonna open the door and your hand would definitely touch the door!!! What about the others who were gonna open the door after you?! Be considerate la. Or you're welcomed to go back to your friggin kindergarden where they teach you how to take care of your hygiene.

4th, she was PUSHing me at every damn left-turning!!! I almost dropped!!! I said "excuse me" and was hoping that she could stop friggin pushing me at any left-turning again. She couldn't friggin hear me!!!!

so, girl, you tell me, WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM!?!?

I'm sorry she really annoyed the living shit outta me at that time and I couldn't control myself once again and posted this up.

Today the driver sent her back at Terasek 8. I guess we all have to stuck with it everyday. Hope not though. I'll probably outta control again and shout at her for every of her stupid action.
